Underwater FC and Miami Sporting Play Out Entertaining 2-2 Draw
Both teams traded goals in a back-and-forth contest that never lacked intensity, ending with honors even.
Underwater FC and Miami Sporting produced one of the most entertaining matches of the round, battling to a 2-2 draw in a game filled with quick responses and strong attacking moments.
The physical tone of the match was clear early, with Giuliano Genua receiving a yellow card in the 12th minute. Miami Sporting then struck first in the 23rd minute, as Gerson Alvarez finished a chance created by Ronald Garcia to give his side a 1-0 lead.
Underwater FC answered in the 27th minute through David Martínez, bringing the game level at 1-1 and reigniting the contest. Miami Sporting responded once again before halftime, with Renier Varela scoring in the 39th minute to put his team back in front at 2-1.
But the lead lasted only a minute. In the 40th minute, Henry Feo scored for Underwater FC, with Norgen Rojas providing the assist, making it 2-2 before the break and capping a wild first half.
The second half remained competitive, though neither side could find the decisive goal. Yellow cards to Emmanuel Reyes in the 55th minute and Juan Briceño in the 64th reflected the intensity of the battle as both teams pushed for all three points.
Man of the Match honors went to Norgen Rojas, whose assist and overall influence helped Underwater FC stay alive in a demanding, back-and-forth matchup.
In the end, neither side could break the deadlock, and a 2-2 draw felt like a fair result after such an evenly fought contest.
