The league leaders remain untouchable, and Underwater FC felt the full force of it as 1512 FC romped to a staggering 9-0 win — with all nine goals coming inside the first half. Carlos Etchevers opened the scoring in the 18th minute off a Giuliano Genua assist, and Genua then struck twice himself (33' and 34') to make it 3-0. The goals just kept coming: Carlos Fernandez (40'), Carlos Gonzalez (40') and a first Gallup Galipolli strike (43') pushed it to 6-0 before the break even arrived.
Galipolli wasn’t finished, completing his hat-trick with goals in the 45th minute on either side of a Carlos Ramirez strike, as 1512 FC rattled off nine unanswered to send a thunderous message to the rest of the league. It was about as complete a half of football as you’ll see — clinical, relentless and utterly dominant.
After three matchdays, 1512 FC stand alone at the top of the UFL standings with a perfect nine points from nine available. Their numbers are extraordinary: 14 goals scored, zero conceded and a commanding +14 goal difference. No other team has managed to combine such attacking efficiency with defensive discipline. With Miami Sporting and El Relleno both chasing on seven points, the newcomers have already established themselves as the early benchmark of the competition and one of the most exciting stories of the season.
For Underwater FC, the defeat represents a major setback. Now sixth in the standings with three points, seven goals scored and a troubling 16 conceded, they currently possess the league’s most vulnerable defense. Although they remain inside the playoff qualification positions, their -9 goal difference highlights an urgent need for defensive improvement. With several teams close behind, Underwater must respond quickly if they want to protect their place in the top six and avoid being dragged into the lower half of the table.
